| Customer Reviews: Ice auger March 3, 2010 Richard B. Rineer First auger of this type I have owned. Once I figured out how to atttack the ice with this thing it was a blessing. Have to keep the blades honed (pocket stone works well). Quick delivery and good communications.

Cut great holes through about 10 inches of ice, till one of the blades broke on about the 4th hole. Sent the auger back and waiting for a replacement. Rating could go up or down depending on how long it takes to get the auger back, and if the blades work properly this time.

Auger arriver sooner than expected and has performed admirably for my Grandsons. Would use this vendor again if needed.
Works well, happy with purchase December 30, 2008 frugalbrutus (MN USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I only ice fish once a year, so have no need for a power auger. I was able to crank through 36 inches (yeah 36 inches!) of ice in 5 to 10 minutes. Three holes was enough of a workout for me, but this auger works just fine for my infrequent needs.
