I bought this to use for a stage-makeup kit for a small theatre troupe, not as an ordinary tackle box. But it is a great value, nice and roomy and quite sturdy. The only thing I'd like more would be if more partitions were moveable or ran in the other direction to accommodate some different dimensions. Once the latches are opened on the sides, occasionally the hinges resist moving or just the lids don't come open super-easily, but some of that may be the newness and it will get better as it breaksin (I can hoep so), but nothing to really be an impediment to using it the way I need. I think if i were a fisherman and wanted to open it one-handed it would frustrate me more.

I ordered one of these for a Fly-In fishing trip to Canada. This box had plenty of room for all of my fishing gear, including two fishing reels, a small portable hand held fish finder w/spare batteries, extra lures, stringer, Etc. The trays were plentiful and roomy and the handle and body sturdy. The cup holders were a welcome addition, as the boat did not have any. All-in-All, a very good tackle box that I would certainly recommend to others.........

This is a typical hip roof box. For the price you can't beat it. I had to do some trimming of excess plastic from all the parts
which wasn't a big deal . I have five Plano Hip Roof Tackle Boxes I bought the first one in the mid sixties and still use it today. Nobody has ever made a better product. I bought this one for storing leather tools not for fishing. If your going to buy one for fishing it will work, but you will be happier with the more expensive one. It is almost indestructible.

Got this for our son. Loves the trays as he can divide them, box is deep and holds alot of his stuff. Lots of space, and light weight.
